enriching the lives of youth from
all socioeconomic backgrounds.
PROGRAMS
COMMUNITY OUTREACH U-TURN collaborates with community
based organizations whose mission is
to improve the lives of inner-city youth.
SCHOOL OUTREACH U-TURN partners with alternative,
private, and public schools to provide
sports clinics, health awareness, and
physical education.
SPORTING EVENTS U-TURN coordinates field trips for
athletes to attend collegiate and
professional athletic games, and
other fun extra-curricular activities.
MINISTRY U-TURN hosts events which include
fun, food and fellowship for churches
and youth groups.
SCHOLARSHIPS U-TURN assists athletes who are in
financial need by providing them with
opportunities to earn scholarships for
their athletic training.
Jelani Dandles, was born and raised in Albany, NY. Jelani graduated from the University at Albany with a degree in Business Administration in 2002. Jelani completed his Master’s in Public Administration in 2005, with a concentration in Financial Budgeting and Non-profit Management. Jelani was a varsity football letterman for the University at Albany Great Danes. Jelani earned All Northeast Conference Player and Team Defensive Back Player of the Year honors as a redshirt freshman.
